cooperation Mr. Shukhrat Amanov- Head of Innovation and Education Department at the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan informed that AKIS- Agricultural Service Centers will be established and opened in all regions of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as a part of the Agriculture Development Strategy. The work is done in cooperation and with the support of the European Union, the World Bank and other international donor organizations. The activities of “Skills Development for Employability in Rural Areas of Uzbekistan” project will focus on the improvement of the national system for skills development in agriculture and irrigation sectors by targeting all colleges in Uzbekistan in these spheres. Pilot colleges in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara and Surkhandarya will be equipped and modernized.
